An indicative Andaman passage
Come aboard for a varied loop through Phang Nga Bay, the Krabi coast and Phi Phi. We combine a few short passages so there is time to enjoy the surroundings, rather than trying to visit every island. Koh Phanak and Koh Hong are possible daytime visits; the four overnight areas are Koh Roi, Railay, Phi Phi Don and Koh Rang Yai. Most sailing days aim for around four to six hours underway, although the forecast and the shared training week may change the balance. No sailing experience is needed for cruising guests, and joining formal course exercises is optional. The sailing programme runs Monday to Friday, with checkout by 17:00 on Friday. We confirm check-in and any early-boarding arrangements with your booking.

Indicative passage plan
Each day is a planning framework, not a promise of a particular anchorage or activity. At five knots, a 50-mile leg requires roughly ten hours underway before pilotage and manoeuvring.

Meet your skipper, learn the essentials of moving safely aboard and leave Yacht Haven for Phang Nga Bay. Koh Phanak is a possible daytime pause before we continue towards Koh Roi for the night.
- Enjoy the first sails and an unhurried lunch aboard
- Visit a cave or hong only if tide, access, supervision and time allow
- Settle into the evening anchorage chosen by the skipper
The intermediate visit is optional, not a promise to enter a particular cave.

Head around the northern side of Koh Yao Noi towards Koh Hong in Krabi—not the similarly named island in western Phang Nga Bay. There may be time for a permitted beach or swimming stop before continuing to Railay.
An evening ashore can be a lovely part of the trip when the anchorage and dinghy landing are suitable. If the coast is exposed, the skipper will choose a more sheltered overnight position.

Leave the Krabi coast for Phi Phi, with time to enjoy the passage and watch the crew at work. You are welcome to take an informal turn at the helm, but this is a cruise rather than an assessed course.
Once the yacht is secure, a swim or a visit ashore may be possible. We choose the bay for shelter and safe access; no particular mooring, restaurant or island landing is guaranteed.

Enjoy breakfast aboard before sailing northwest towards Phuket's east coast. This is the principal return passage, bringing us closer to the marina before the final day.
Koh Rang Yai is the planned overnight area, with time to unwind if progress and conditions allow. A different sheltered stop may be chosen to protect the return window.

Make the shorter coastal passage back to Yacht Haven, leaving room for pilotage, a final debrief and packing. The skipper coordinates arrival with the marina and the shared course programme.
Checkout is by 17:00 on Friday. Additional swimming stops are optional; a comfortable, reliable return takes priority.
