Perfect for guests who want a relaxed, photogenic day without long passages. Spend several hours enjoying Coral Island’s beaches and snorkeling, then cruise along Phuket’s south coast for a classic Andaman sunset near Promthep Cape.

Indicative passage plan
Each day is a planning framework, not a promise of a particular anchorage or activity. At five knots, a 50-mile leg requires roughly ten hours underway before pilotage and manoeuvring.
Approx. 16 nmMorning – Sail to Coral Island
- Depart from Phuket late morning and sail south towards Coral Island (Koh Hey)
- Enjoy an easy cruise with views of Phuket’s headlands and beaches
- Drop anchor off Coral Island and transfer ashore by dinghy
At Coral Island:
- Relax on the white-sand beach or grab a sunbed
- Time for swimming, snorkeling or optional water sports like kayaking or banana boat (if available on the day)
- Coral reefs just off the beach host plenty of colourful reef fish
Midday – Beach Time & Lunch
- Enjoy a Thai-style lunch – either served on board or at a local beach restaurant, depending on your preference
- After lunch, there’s more time to swim, snorkel or simply unwind under the shade
Afternoon – Coastal Cruise & Promthep Cape
- Raise the sails again and cruise slowly along Phuket’s south coast
- Pass by landmarks such as Kata, Karon and Nai Harn bays (route can be adjusted to the conditions)
- Arrive off Promthep Cape, one of Thailand’s most famous sunset viewpoints
Here you can:
- Enjoy the golden-hour light on the cliffs and lighthouse
- Capture photos of the yacht with the sun dropping into the Andaman Sea
- Toast the end of the day with a drink on deck as the sky turns orange and pink
Early Evening – Sail Back to Port
- After sunset we make a short, relaxed cruise back towards your drop-off pier in Phuket
- Arrive in the early evening, with sandy feet, salt in your hair and your camera full of sunset shots
