An indicative Andaman passage
Spend a week discovering several sides of the Andaman: Racha's island bays, Koh Ha, Phi Phi, the Krabi cliffs and Phang Nga Bay. The first two days are longer sailing passages; later in the week there is more time to enjoy each stop. We plan one overnight area per day, with optional visits along the way. This is a private sailing holiday, not a scheduled Mile Builder departure. We will help choose the yacht and crew arrangements for your group and confirm inclusions and availability. The proposed Yacht Haven round-trip includes seven days and six nights, with a short final-morning return and planned checkout by 14:00 on Day 7. Joining time must allow the first passage; any early boarding is agreed separately. Your booking confirms these arrangements. Weather, park access and the skipper's judgement shape the final itinerary; particular activities and logged mileage are not guaranteed.

Day by day
Indicative passage plan
Each day is a planning framework, not a promise of a particular anchorage or activity. At five knots, a 50-mile leg requires roughly ten hours underway before pilotage and manoeuvring.
~40 nm mappedSettle into a proper sailing day
After the yacht and safety briefing, head south along Phuket's east coast towards Racha Yai. Allow roughly eight hours underway at 5 knots, before stops and manoeuvring: plan lunch aboard and enjoy watching the islands change as we sail. Your joining arrangements must leave enough time for departure and a suitable arrival.
Racha Yai is the planned first overnight area, with a swim if there is time once the yacht is secure. If conditions or joining time make Racha unsuitable, the skipper will agree a shorter alternative.

Leave early for the second substantial sailing day: roughly seven hours underway at 5 knots, before stops and manoeuvring. Meals and refreshments are planned aboard, with a short swim or snorkel after arrival if time allows.
Koh Ha is the proposed overnight area only when permission, shelter and mooring or anchoring arrangements are suitable. If an overnight stay is unsuitable, the skipper will agree a sheltered alternative and re-plan the following day.

Sail north to Phi Phi Don, with a less demanding passage than the first two days. After securing the yacht, choose between relaxing aboard, a swim or a visit ashore when landing conditions allow.
An additional Phi Phi Leh visit is optional and depends on time, weather and current access rules. Maya Bay entry is not included or guaranteed. We choose the overnight bay for shelter and access rather than promising a particular beach, restaurant or wildlife encounter.

Cross towards Railay and enjoy a different coastline. The planned overnight area is Railay, or a suitable sheltered Krabi alternative. A beach walk or a quiet evening aboard can be the main event.
The Poda / Chicken Island area is an optional daytime stop if it fits the passage. We will choose activities around the day's sailing and safe dinghy landing conditions, leaving room to enjoy the evening.
~23 nm mappedTurn towards quieter Phang Nga Bay
Sail north along the Krabi coast, passing the Koh Hong area before rounding the northern side of Koh Yao Noi towards Koh Roi. This is Koh Hong in Krabi, not the similarly named island farther west in Phang Nga Bay.
Koh Hong is a possible daytime visit, not a required landing. Choose a permitted beach or lagoon activity only if tide, weather and time allow. Koh Roi is the planned overnight area, giving us a quieter base for the next day's bay exploration.

Make the shorter passage towards Koh Phanak and leave room to enjoy Phang Nga Bay. The skipper selects an appropriate overnight position near Koh Phanak, within reach of Yacht Haven for the final morning.
Choose one main optional outing, rather than trying to visit every attraction: a supervised hong or cave visit where tide and permission allow, or a separately arranged James Bond Island / Koh Panyi excursion if suitable local transport and enough time are available. Transfers, admissions and shore activities must be agreed with us; they are not automatically included. These excursions are not part of the mapped yacht track.
Return to the marina today instead if weather or progress calls for a larger margin.

Make the short final passage in the morning, allowing time for marina pilotage, packing and the yacht handover. The plan is to be ready for checkout by 14:00 on Day 7; your booking confirms the joining and departure arrangements.
No extra island stops are scheduled today. If we returned to the marina the previous evening, enjoy an unhurried morning ashore instead. A reliable finish takes priority over another activity.
