An indicative Andaman passage
This 7-day Andaman Sea journey gives you a mix of quiet anchorages, vibrant marine life, dramatic limestone scenery and iconic beaches. Starting from Phuket, you explore Racha Noi, Koh Ha, the Phi Phi Islands, Railay, Hong Island (Krabi Province), James Bond Island and the sea-gypsy village of Koh Panyi before finishing in Phuket.

Day by day
Indicative passage plan
Each day is a planning framework, not a promise of a particular anchorage or activity. At five knots, a 50-mile leg requires roughly ten hours underway before pilotage and manoeuvring.

We begin the trip at 10:00 AM from Chalong Pier, Phuket.
Morning – Racha Yai
- Sail to Koh Racha Yai, one of Phuket’s most famous crystal-clear bays
- Enjoy your first swim and snorkel in turquoise water
Afternoon – Racha Noi
- Continue further south to Koh Racha Noi, a beautiful and quiet island
- Very few boats visit, making it ideal for sunset swimming and relaxation
- Spend a peaceful first night at anchor in a secluded bay

We depart early for Koh Ha, roughly 40 NM away.
Koh Ha – A Snorkeling Paradise
- A group of five small limestone islands in the middle of the Andaman Sea
- Famous for exceptional visibility, caves and vibrant coral fish
- Spend the entire day snorkeling, swimming and exploring
Enjoy a quiet overnight anchorage surrounded by dramatic rock formations.

After a refreshing morning swim at Koh Ha, we set sail for the Phi Phi Islands.
Phi Phi Leh
- Explore Maya Bay, where “The Beach” was filmed
- Pass by the iconic Viking Cave
Phi Phi Don
- Swim at Monkey Bay or nearby reefs
- Optional shore visit for drinks, restaurants and nightlife
Overnight choices:
- Tonsai Bay for nightlife and energy
- Or a quiet bay for peaceful relaxation onboard

Morning – Phi Phi Viewpoint
- Recommended hike to Phi Phi Viewpoint (approx. 90 min round trip)
- Breathtaking scenic panorama over Phi Phi’s twin bays
Long Beach
- Return to the yacht for a swim and breakfast
- Stop at Long Beach, known for snorkeling with blacktip reef sharks (harmless and common)
Afternoon – Chicken Island
- Sail to Koh Kai (Chicken Island)
- Great snorkeling, dramatic rock shapes and calm bays
- Overnight at anchor in this scenic area

Railay Peninsula
- Early sail to Railay Beach, accessible only by boat
- Walk the white-sand beaches and dramatic limestone cliffs
- Optional rock climbing for adventurous guests
Koh Hong (Krabi Province)
- Between Koh Yao Noi and Railay lies the pristine Koh Hong
- Two stunning twin bays with powdery beaches
- Explore the inner hong (lagoon) by kayak or dinghy
- Wildlife includes gibbons, birds and lizards
Evening – Koh Yao Yai
- Sail to Koh Yao Yai and anchor in one of its beautiful bays

Morning – Caves of Koh Phanak
- Explore multiple sea caves and inner lagoons
- Paddle into the hongs if the tide is right
Koh Hong (Phang Nga)
- Visit another Koh Hong, this time in Phang Nga Bay
- Beautiful lagoon, cliffs and mangroves
James Bond Island
- Famous site from “The Man with the Golden Gun”
- Option to view from the boat or step ashore
Koh Panyi – Sea Gypsy Village
- Founded over 200 years ago
- A fascinating village built entirely on stilts
- Explore shops, pathways and local restaurants
Overnight at anchor near Koh Panyi.

Wake up to a stunning sunrise over Phang Nga Bay’s limestone formations.
Koh Naka Noi
- Stop at Koh Naka Noi for a beach walk and relaxation
Koh Kai Nok
- Final snorkeling opportunity at Koh Kai Nok, a small sandy island
- Enjoy turquoise water and colourful fish
Return to Phuket
- Cruise back to Chalong Bay, arriving around 5 PM
- Trip ends where your adventure began
